# XAGUSD Contract Upgrade Notice | Old Version Renamed to XAGUSD.l; New XAGUSD Contract Launching

**Dear Users,**

To optimize our Silver contract product structure and deliver an enhanced trading experience, YUBIT will be upgrading our Silver trading pairs. The detailed schedule and arrangements are as follows:<br>

#### **Upgrade Timeline**

* **May 25, 2026 (UTC+3):**
  * &#x20; The original XAGUSD contract will be officially renamed to **XAGUSD.l**.  The **new XAGUSD contract** will simultaneously open for trading.
* **May 29, 2026 (UTC+3):**
  * &#x20; The XAGUSD.legacy contract will be officially delisted and cease trading.

#### **Key Upgrade Details**

**Renaming of the Original XAGUSD Contract**The original XAGUSD contract will be renamed on May 25 to:**XAGUSD.l**The corresponding contract description will be updated to:

> *Legacy XAG contract. Use new XAGUSD to trade.*

**Please Note:**

* Following the rename, XAGUSD.legacy will **no longer support opening new positions**.
* Users will **only be allowed to close existing positions** (Reduce-Only).
* To continue trading Silver contracts, please switch to the new XAGUSD contract market.

#### **Launch of the New XAGUSD Contract**

The new XAGUSD contract will officially launch on May 25. This upgraded version features a revised contract size:

* **Contract Size (per lot):** 5,000 The new contract will serve as our primary Silver market moving forward.
* **Delisting Schedule for the Legacy Contract**

The XAGUSD.legacy contract will be officially delisted on:**May 29, 2026 (UTC+3)**\
\&#xNAN;***Action Required**: We strongly advise all users holding active positions in the legacy contract to close them ahead of time. Any remaining open positions at the time of delisting will be automatically liquidated/closed by the system.*\
