# Setting Up 2FA (Web)

**Steps:**

1. Visit the **YUBIT website**, click the **profile icon** (top right), then go to **Account & Security**.
2. Under Google Authenticator, click **Set Up**.
3. Verify with your **email verification code**.
4. Install Google Authenticator:
   * iOS: Search **“Authenticator”** in the App Store
   * Android: Search **“Google Authenticator”** in the Play Store
5. Scan the **QR code** on the YUBIT setup page, or manually enter the **secret key**.
6. Enter the **6-digit verification code** generated, then click **Confirm**.

**Reminder:**\
Keep a backup of your secret key in a secure location. Losing access to both your device and secret key may permanently block account access.
