# Setting Up 2FA (App)

**Steps:**

1. Open the **YUBIT App**, tap the **profile icon** (top left), then go to **Account Security**.
2. Select **Google Authenticator** under Security Settings.
3. Verify your identity with your **email verification code**.
4. Copy and securely back up the **secret key** provided.
   * If needed, download Google Authenticator from the app store.
5. In the authenticator app, tap the “+” and select **Enter a setup key**.
   * Input any account name, paste the secret key, and set it to **Time-based**.
6. Return to the YUBIT app, enter the **6-digit code**, and tap **Confirm** to complete setup.

**Notes:**

* Always back up your secret key securely. Without it, you may not be able to recover your account if you change or lose your device.
* For your safety, withdrawals will be frozen for **6 hours** after binding Google Authenticator.
